The decision to appoint Ruud van Nistelrooy as Leicester City’s new manager has been questioned by many after the Dutchman failed to turn the club’s fortunes around as hoped.

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has spoken to Leicester City News about Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future and how long he will remain as manager สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที of the Foxes after their dismal run of seven consecutive Premier League defeats put them at risk of relegation.

Leicester City have appointed Van Nistelrooy as their new manager following the sacking of Steve Cooper, but the move has yet to change the club’s fortunes. The Foxes are currently 19th in the Premier League table, having picked up just 14 points from 22 games.

Club chiefs had hoped Van Nistelrooy’s appointment would instigate change but the Dutchman’s first 10 games in charge have seen them win just twice and lose the last seven, with fans booing the 48-year-old after Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace.

For Keown, he is another who has questioned the future of Van Nistelrooy, who is currently fighting to keep his job at Leicester City.

‘They’ve lost seven games in a row and you look at Van Nistelrooy who got the job. He came in at Manchester United, had a couple of good results and then suddenly it became a trend.’

‘It came out of nowhere, and now you wonder if they’re going to fix this or if they’re going to keep their job.’

“He’s under a lot of pressure. This is a game he’s going to see. If he can win, he’ll be out of the bottom three,” Keown said.
