He made a total of five saves, but made one crucial save in the first half (a long-range shot by Teo).

In the penalty shootout, France alternated their shots from left to right and center, which left him completely dazed.

Joao Cancelo – 7/10

Met Mbappe and challenged him, but he didn’t give in easily. It can be said that he handled it quite well.

He used his speed and agility to attack Teo in extra time before creating a chance to cross to the spot for Ronaldo to score.

Another moment was when he crossed for Felix to head home early in the second half of extra time.

He had 44 touches of the ball but wasn’t particularly impressive.

It was really a nightmare for him because he was the only one who missed a penalty.

Mike Maignan – 8/10

He didn’t make any saves in the first half, but he played a crucial role in the second half, preventing the team from conceding a goal. He made three important saves (Bruno and Vitinha’s shots in the penalty area and Ronaldo’s back-heel).

Theo Hernandez – 7/10

He was a regular in the forward line and was always involved in the team’s attacking play. He had a chance to shoot from a distance to score a goal once, but was saved by Costa, the Portuguese goalkeeper,

during the penalty shootout. He really shot with precision.

William Saliba – 8/10

He maintained his form brilliantly, was consistent, and kept up with Ronaldo and helped out on many occasions, intercepting, clearing and handling the ball in the air.

There were no ugly mistakes to be seen, but his key moment in the game was when he blocked Leo’s shot in extra time, which helped prevent the team from conceding a goal.

One of the players who made the most tackles in the game (4), he managed to deal with Doku’s pace in the last game, but this time he faced Leo who was also quick and had more finesse than Doku, which caused Kounde problems at times.

Aurelien Chuameni – 6/10

His long balls are incredibly accurate. He tries to hit his usual long-range formula, but it just doesn’t hit the mark.

Eduardo Camavinga – 7.5/10

He was good with the ball but his finishing was lacking in the first half.

In the second half he followed up by intercepting the ball from Vitinha who made a quick counter-attack (when Griezmann slipped in the final third and was counter-attacked) and in another moment Leo used his speed to get into the penalty area but he was able to follow up and intercept.

He was another one who could have scored for the team in the second half, but the ball just hit the post.

N’Golo Kante – 6.5/10

He continued to be strong, moving up high to be involved in the team’s attacks on several occasions and had two long-range shots towards the end of the second half, but they went straight at Costa.

Defensively, he made three clearances, two interceptions and two tackles.

Antoine Griezmann – 6/10

He played as the number 10 player who created the team’s attacking play, but he created only one goal-scoring opportunity for his teammates in the 67 minutes he was on the pitch.

Kylian Mbappe (Captain) – 6/10

It seems that wearing a mask has affected his performance quite a bit at Euro 2024. He looked uncomfortable and his performance was not very natural.

In the first half, he tried to use his speed to attack Cancelo, but it was ineffective and he was lacking in the final third. In the

second half, he tried to find more chances to score, but as usual, he still lacked sharpness.

Randall Kolo Muani – 5.5/10

In the last match, he came on as a substitute and had a fairly positive impact. But in this match, he had a chance to start, but he didn’t make much of an impact and had little involvement in the offensive game.

In the second half, he had a golden opportunity to score a goal, but Dias blocked the ball, causing it to change direction and unfortunately not go into the frame.
